Ranga touched many lives across continents from his roots in Zimbabwe to his life in the US. With passion, warmth and humor he was a shining presence. Ranga cared deeply for people and brought out the best in all. Ranga engaged, innovated, provoked and led in many different ways and leaves a big Ranga-sized gap. We recognize, in particular, his partnership with Amira and relationship with his daughters Tanaka and Mayita.
We seek to create a legacy of education and empowerment by creating a scholarship fund in honor of Ranga at Atlantic College (Wales). He had many fond memories of his time at Atlantic College and recently started this endeavor through his philanthropic support. We want to ensure that he is celebrated, as we mourn him. We hope that family and friends from schools & universities, work and other connections can all post memories, reflections and pictures. Additionally, we are compiling a memory book please contribute stories, letters, quotes, photos to (https://ToRangaWithLove.fromabirdie.com/contribute ). These will be compiled by the time of the memorial, date/location still to be determined.
