Joe Alfred Taylor Sr.
Joe Alfred Taylor Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at his residence. Joe was born March 28, 1943, in Yoakum,
Texas to Luella Mae and John Henry Taylor. Joe was an only child born to this union. Joe received his formal education in Yoakum, Texas.
Joe's mother and father moved to Denver, Colorado, where he was a member of the Jerusalem Church of God in Christ under
the leadership of the Late Bishop Henry F. Kelly of Denver, Colorado.
Joe was born into a family of twelve aunts and uncles.
Joe leaves to cherish his memory his beloved Wife of 25 years Shirley Leland Newbins-Taylor of El Paso Texas, his stepdaughter Nieko and her Children- Paul, Adrian Jr., Jermaine, De 'Ron, Zern and stepsons, George and Joseph. Helen Griffen Taylor to this union was born Helene Johnson and her Children- Rovance, Dione, Monique. Nita Jo Taylor and Her Children- Antwane, Nina, Ashley, Asia. Vanessa Taylor Children- Kenneth, Quincy, Tarzjae and Joe Jr. and His Children- Amber, Joelee, Antoinette, Jasmain, Paris and Aaliyah. Karen Taylor to this union was born Christopher Taylor Jr. and Danielle Andrea Taylor of Denver, Colorado, A host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends. Joe is proceeded in death by his parent's John Henry Taylor and Luella William Talyor, his daughter Vanessa Taylor and stepson David Newbins
Joe will be missed be all that called him.
