Cherish Dawn Staack

Cherish Dawn Staack, born Cherish Dawn Gaines on October 29, 1977, in Nebraska, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024, in Lakewood, Colorado, at the age of 46. She was the beloved daughter of Paul (Doug) Gaines and Katherine (Hohn) Gaines. Cherish's early years were spent in Nebraska, where she developed a deep connection to those around her and a love for her community. She later moved to Colorado, where she built her family and created her legacy filled with joy, compassion, love, humor and strength. Cherish was a loving mother to Lance Bender, Tyson Bender, and Makenna Staack, she pursued a career in the mortgage industry, where she laid the roots to a prolific and illustrious career path where she captured the heart of everybody she came in contact with. Cherish touched many lives with her kindness, her professionalism, and her very lovable sense of humor. Outside of work, she loved spending time with her friends, family and dogs, enjoyed a good old game of Uno and had a deep passion for cooking. She especially cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. Cherish will be remembered for her radiant spirit, her unwavering support for those she loved, and her ability to bring warmth and light into every room she entered. Her legacy of love, strength, and humor will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.She is survived by her children, Lance, Tyson and Makenna; and her mother, Katherine Tomlinson. She is preceded in death by her father Paul (Doug) Gaines, who welcomed his beautiful daughter with open arms in heaven.
